Rooted in her Lebanese heritage, Micheline’s work is shaped by the flavors and techniques passed down through generations. Raised in the south of Lebanon, she grew up with a deep connection to the land, where ingredients are not just sourced but nurtured - harvested, processed, and transformed at home. This intimate relationship with food informs her approach today.
Now based in the Netherlands and working across Europe - mainly in Brussels, Paris, Copenhagen, and the Netherlands - she follows wherever the table calls. Her practice spans bespoke culinary experiences, artistic food installations, and immersive dining concepts that challenge the way we experience food.
She often deconstructs familiar flavors and reconstructs them in new ways, a technique she carries from her background in architecture. Beyond this, she plays with the concept of time - an ingredient she considers the most valuable, as it reflects care and love. For her, taking the time to cook, set up, host, and focus on the details is just as important as the food itself.
She thrives on collaboration, whether curating intimate gatherings, conceptualizing food experiences, or working with brands and creatives across disciplines.
